For years I suffered from tension headaches. I used Ibuprofin more than I liked. I also had a few fillings which cracked. I had pain, especially if I drank anything cold. I needed a couple of crowns. Then, Dr. Doner suggested a night mouthguard. He thought I might be grinding my teeth at night. It sounded simple enough so I gave it a try. The first night or two were awkward, but I stuck with it. Within a couple of months, the headaches disappeared. I started going several dental visits without needing work! An extra plus, I soak the mouthguard in mouthwash during the day and my morning breath is fresh instead of stale! Perhaps it isn't romantic - but it's easy to take out and put back in and I haven't had to use Ibuprofin in years for a headache. I have been meaning to write this letter of thanks since the first day I came to Summit Dental. I had been without dental care for five years. Yes, I was bad. When I walked through the door, Karen warmly greeted me even though I didn't have an appointment. I have a tendency to just show up.
